Here’s a sample of the work we did at Digital Domain for Starz’ Season 3 of “Black Sails”. I was the VFX Supervisor for a team that eventually grew to more than 60 artists. The bulk of the work was for Episode 2, where we had to recreate a hurricane-strength storm Cap. Flint and the crew of the Walrus fall into to escape Hornigold’s ship. We also created work for 5 additional episodes, including many open ocean shots and a great underwater sequence on Ep. 9. Enjoy!
